Fiberglass Floating Pump Station Barges

Corrosion resistant fiberglass pump barge on calm water near rocky shore.

Fifty Years of Quality

American Fiberglass pioneered the use of fiberglass as a material for construction of floating pump stations in the 1970's and have been manufacturing the world's highest-quality barges since for nearly 50 years.

The barge pictured to the left is still in service in Morenci, AZ

Fiberglass Durability

Fiberglass is tough and durable, capable of supporting tens of thousands of pounds in the face of physical damage and corrosion during service in freshwater, saltwater, and acid solutions.  Plastic and coated metals cannot compete for service life and reliability.

Turn-Key Service

American Fiberglass' floating pump barges are custom designed, engineered, and fabricated at our facility in Phoenix, AZ for each application.  Our barges feature protection from sinking, capsizing, and running aground that are not found on competitors' designs.

We can provide everything from the fiberglass barges to the pumps, piping, valves, and controls.

American Fiberglass offers cylindrical barges for cost-effective service, rectangular models for more complex design requirements, and break-down models to accommodate international shipping.
